Stippling is a drawing technique in which areas of light and shadow are created using the dots. Stunning portraits and pet drawings can be made through this technique.

To create a stippling artwork, we need a fine tip pen, pencil and a paper.

Select a photograph for the artwork with high resolution.

Firstly draw a light outline pencil drawing on the paper.

Then study the photograph, areas in shadow and areas exposed in light.

Take a pen and apply dots in such a way that dots are less and far from each other in areas which are exposed in light. As it gets in shadow the dots start coming closer to each other. Denser in the areas under shadow.

Hence, entire artwork will be created with nothing but only dots.
