A Tiny Cut-Paper Maze
Build a little maze from paper walls and test it with your eyes.

Time: 45–60 minutes, plus drying
Use one base sheet and a second sheet for strips. This version stays flat; no precision knife or raised walls are needed. Drying time is extra.
What you need
- paper
- scissors
- glue
- pen
Try this idea
- Draw a start and finish on the base paper and lightly sketch a winding route between them.
- Cut broad strips from the second sheet to serve as walls.
- Lay the strips beside the route, adding two or three dead ends while keeping a continuous path open.
- Trace the maze visually from start to finish, adjust any blocked passage, then glue the strips flat.
- Let the glue dry. Invite someone to solve it, or solve it yourself from the other end.
A smaller version
Draw the maze with a pen and skip the paper walls.
A good place to stop
A route with one dead end is a complete mini maze.
Make it work for you
Use wide passages and large pieces. A pre-cut strip version reduces cutting but still involves hand coordination.
Another way in
Design a second route that reaches the same finish.
