Step 2: View Friends and Statuses

Once you’ve entered the chat interface, you’ll see your friends’ names and their online statuses.

Step 3: Open Settings

At the top of this chat box, you’ll notice icons. Click on the first icon, represented by three dots.

Step 4: Customize Your Profile

After clicking the three dots, a menu will appear.

Here’s what you can do:

Set Your Status Message: You can create your own status message. Normally, an automatic message appears based on your online status, but you can personalize it by simply deleting the default message and typing your own. You may write a maximum of 140 characters.

Choose Your Online Status: You have three options:

“Away“: Indicate you’re temporarily unavailable.

“Busy“: Let others know you’re occupied or in a meeting.
