About this product
Diopside Genuine.
Highly pigmented and finely ground watercolors made by hand in the USA. Extra fine watercolors produce clean washes, even layers, and also possess superior lightfastness properties. Diopside Genuine is a rich gemstone green. Also known as the Russian Emerald, the mineral is usually seen in fine jewelry. Exquisite in hue, it brushes out evenly from deep bottle green through clear Kelly green to palest mint. In washes hints of the brown mineral settle out adding an earthy nuance.
