I adored the color of my mobile, and I wanted to showcase it rather than conceal it entirely with the painting. Therefore, I crafted a petite mandala painting on a circular piece of paper and positioned it around the logo. This not only accentuated the color of my mobile but also adorned it with a delightful design.
For it you will need:
- High-quality paper and pencil
- Cutter
- Geometric tools (such as a compass, ruler, and protractor)
- Acrylic paints
- Gloss medium for acrylic paint
- Mandala tools or substitutes for dotting
- Paintbrush and palette
Step 1: Begin by selecting a sheet of paper. Measure the width of your phone and use a cutter to trim the paper into a circular shape with a diameter matching your phone’s width. If desired, cut out a smaller circle in the center to accommodate your phone’s logo.
Step 2: Apply a base coat of paint to the paper. Match the color to that of your mobile by referencing its Pantone shade number online. Mix the appropriate acrylic colors to achieve the desired shade. You can also consult a color wheel for guidance.
I searched on Google the mobile colour Shade number of Pantone. In the Pantone shade list I got the name of the colour It was the light Magenta-blue. SO I mixed magenta and French Ultramarine colour to get the exact shade.
Step 3: Using Acrylic colours paint the base coat of the colour matching your mobile , apply a layer of glossy medium to give it a shiny finish reminiscent of your mobile’s surface.
Step 4: Create a border around the inner circle using a golden color. Use mandala tools to add golden dots around the border.
Step 5: Continue decorating your design by adding more dots and patterns using your chosen tools and techniques.
Step 6: Once your painting is complete, carefully place it over your phone, ensuring that any logos or focal points are centered. Finally, cover the entire setup with a transparent mobile cover to protect your artwork.
